Study Task 3 - Protagonist Design 1

I've redrawn the protagonist because I didn't like the alien design.


I designed this by developing an idea I'd envisioned, rather than using the brainstorming technique. The design includes a sheath, sword and helmet, displaying his combative, agile abilities. He was going to have a dog but that was too complicated.

I developed the protagonist until I was happy with it, then drew the T-pose. These helped develop his character profile.

What Went Well

• Simple design to replicate
• Distinctive props
• Contrasts antagonist's appearance

Improvements

• T-pose needs adjustments

Coming Week

• Refine characters with colour
