I
used augmented reality to show understanding of secondary action and
overlapping. I took a video of myself and Madgie swaying, and then superimposed
alien eyes. These carried on swaying for a few frames while our heads had
started swaying in the opposite direction, exemplifying overlapping. The
blinking eyes were the secondary action. I found this challenging and
wasn't pleased with the outcome.
What Went Well
- Overlapping improved in last two head sways
- Squash and Stretch and Arcs improved motion
- Blinking eyes conveyed weight to sways
- Overlapping not strong enough in initial four head sways (motion was too linear)
- Augmented eyes too loose on the head
- Consider more than one principle at a time
Improved Version
- Better overlapping
- Ears stay in the same location on the head
